tree–climbing lions, which are occasionally seen relaxing on the
branches of acacia trees. Other animals found in this area
include elephants, leopards, impalas, hippos, and millions of
birds especially pelicans and flamingos. The scenery of this
park with its Alkaline Lake including its five vegetation zones
is compared to a scenic gem with a setting extolled by Ernest
Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The park also
has the Tanzania’s highest population of elephants per square
kilometer. In the afternoon enjoy your first-bush picnic lunch.
Continue with game viewing. In the evening leave the park and

animals, most of which take part in the seasonal migration that
is one of wonders of nature. Drive to Seronera arriving to your
Lodge or Campsite located in the heart of Serengeti for dinner

species of plains animals from the hare to the elephant and a
wonderful selection of bird life. Drive to Olduvai Gorge to get
