Keekorok Lodge - Masai Mara National Reserve
Keekorok Lodge is located in the very heart of Masai Mara
National Reserve in Kenya, Keekorok, meaning motley abundance in
the local Masai language, was constructed in 1962 on a choice
eighty acre site in an area of permanent springs and lush
grassland.The Masai Mara National Reserve is habitually
teeming with wildlife. It is home to literally millions of
plains game and their attendant predators particularly during
the months from July to October when the migration of wildebeest
and zebra reaches its northern apogee.
All kinds of animals and birds abound: 95 species of mammals and
reptiles, and an astonishing 485 species of birds have been
recorded in the reserve.

on the veranda, on the Elephant Deck overlooking the rolling
savannah or in the wilderness in complete privacy.
